A night to celebrate the best of Mazda Employee's in Qld and NSW! This great event was held at Mirra in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
It was one of those weekends where 3 months of rain was predicted for 2 days. Jason and Isobella made the wise and right choice to move there ceremony venue the day before, it truly paid off as the rain came down!!! However, this move could not wash out the beauty and love captured as the these two promised to spend their lives together. Their celebration was full of raw emotion and support as their family and friends rallied around them to make there new ‘last minute’ location a memorable day.
Cachia Madness is what they call it. Justin and Belinda had a relaxed wedding in front of friends and family at Duranbah Beach. These two love birds are so cute, and truly respect each other. After the ceremony they headed to Miami surf club for relaxed finger food and drinks. The night was topped off with limbo and my new photo booth.
Bradon and Rose had a beautiful styled wedding at the Secret garden in Byron Bay. Rose is a lady who knows what she likes and wants, her personality is infectious and throughout her wedding day she was at the centre of all the fun. As friends and family watched and celebrated with these two newlyweds, you could see how much Bradon and Rose are loved by all. I think we can all agree, we look forward to seeing these two produce beautiful babies!!!
What a day for these two! After capturing some amazing views from their hotel rooms we headed to New Farm for a Catholic wedding ceremony. From here we headed up to the top of the Bell Tower - only to find it locked! We powered on and instead headed to the Brisbane Powerhouse for some intimate shots. Dan and Cass were a fabulous couple to photograph - I was honoured.
When I first met Matt + Tegan I could see they shared something strong and special with each another.
Tegan has a soft spot in her heart for Fairy Tales. She started her special day by spending the night at Royal on the Park Hotel which had a stunning view across the park and river, before she ventured on to Blow Dry Bar Brisbane for her hair and then onto Napoleon Perdis for some makeup magic - see more of her day below.
As a photographer I think its very important to have an engagement shoot with your potential wedding photographer for many reasons. Your wedding photographer might be one of the best out there but thats their photography ability not their personality he or she may be a total douche bag. Its also good to have a shoot because you want to know if their style is something you like. The best way to see this is by looking at pictures of you both in. Another reason is too start building that rapport with chosen photographer. Turning up on your wedding day with a meet and greet at the local coffee shop is risky. Getting to know your photographer is ok and maybe potentailly being a life long......who knows.
