As a photographer I think its very important to have an engagement shoot with your potential wedding photographer for many reasons. Your wedding photographer might be one of the best out there but thats their photography ability not their personality he or she may be a total douche bag. Its also good to have a shoot because you want to know if their style is something you like. The best way to see this is by looking at pictures of you both in. Another reason is too start building that rapport with chosen photographer. Turning up on your wedding day with a meet and greet at the local coffee shop is risky. Getting to know your photographer is ok and maybe potentailly being a life long......who knows.
These two love birds couldn't keep the hands off each other as we chose a private location for their couple shoot. Mount Tamborine was their location on the Gold Coast.
These two romantics had a small and intimate wedding with family and close friends. The venue was Mount Nimmel Hall in Austinville.
These high school sweethearts wanted something different for their engagement shoot. They chose Jacobs Well on the Gold Coast. Bring on their wedding next year.
I had the pleasure of photographing for Bespoke Bride wedding fair on the Gold Coast. It was held at Arundel hills country club on a very hot afternoon. I met a few vendors at the wedding fair, lots of talented people out there with much to offer, on your wedding day. Head over to Bespoke Bride and find out more about the next event coming near you.
A movement standing against drugs. Let's change the culture of our communities
One of the things I have realised when photographing weddings is seeing that when the lovely bridal couple do the day their way, the day always flows better.
If you want to have your dog walk the rings down the aisle, then do it. If you want a clown to juggle for entertainment whilst the guests wait for the bride to arrive, then go for it. The point is, have want you want on your wedding day. Don’t worry about the opinions of others, this is your special day and it is all about what the both of you want that matters. You get to create the memories.
Avoid the ‘I wish we did it the way we wanted to…’ after the wedding and hold fast to your dream day.
